For those of us that are not blessed with high speed internet connection, opening Yahoo Mail (the new version) is making us banging our heads on the wall. The only solution is to use Yahoo Mail Classic. But there is no option to revert back u ask? Fear not as i will share 2 workarounds for this matter!...
Solution 1:
For those on FireFox (not the latest version 5 Beta)
In Firefox go to Tools and open Options.
Under the Content tab uncheck “Enable JavaScript”.
Open Yahoo mail URL and login using your id and password.
A notice will appear saying that JavaScript is
needed to be enabled for using the new Yahoo! Mail. There you’ll see two
options to return to a previous version of Yahoo! Mail. Choose the
first option to switch just for one time or second option to return to a
previous version.
Now you are back to the classic version.
In order to access all web sites properly, don’t forget to Enable JavaScript from the Content tab under Options in Firefox.
Refer the screenshot below for help.
In short, u just click TOOLS>Click CONTENT tab> UNCHECK the box where it say Enable Javascript>Click OK>Go to Yahoo Mail and the above screenshot will be there! Done and done~
SOLUTION 2:
This will work for google chrome as well, this is a bit general so it should work on all browsers.
1. Adjust screen resolution to the lowest u can, usualy its 800x600
2. press ok
3. Go to Yahoo Mail
4. It will say the screenshot is too..... and u have the option like th above screenshot to choose Mail Classic..
5. Done and done~
